Dogs welcome

Hi, I'm Chester – a well-behaved Beagle and proud member of the Steiger family!
Let me tell you a little secret: dogs feel completely at ease here.

Hotel Steiger isn’t a dedicated dog hotel, though – so I kindly ask you to be considerate of other guests.

See you soon!

Yours Chester

Four-legged friends welcome

  • Dogs: We charge a dog fee of € 20.00 per night (excluding food) for your well-behaved four-legged companion.
  • Dog Etiquette: Please note that dogs must be kept on a leash in all areas of the hotel. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the dining room, wellness area, or garden.
  • If you'd like to bring your dog along for breakfast or dinner, we’ll be happy to reserve a table for you in our restaurant. Please inform the reception in advance.

Information for dog owners

  • We offer 4 Venediger Studios and 6 Großglockner Studios on the ground floor with separate entrances, specially suited for guests with dogs.

  • Please let us know at the time of your inquiry if you plan to bring your dog.

  • In case of above-average soiling, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee.

  • Please ensure that you have valid liability insurance for your dog to cover any potential damages.

Rules for dogs

1. At the reception, I always ask about suitable walking paths for doing my business.
2. I dispose of my dog waste responsibly using the designated stations provided.
3. I am always kept on a leash in and around the entire hotel premises.
4. Since I know how to behave, I never make more noise than my owner.
5. Of course, I always sleep on the floor in the hotel room. Sofa, bed, and chairs are off-limits for me and reserved for the two-legged guests only. I understand that the hotel might charge my owner an extra cleaning fee on top of the daily dog fee.
6. Since some staff members might be a little afraid of me, we always hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door when I’m in the room. That way, housekeeping knows not to enter.
